Half way there!

We are in Calzada de Coto. Walked 27.9 km by 12:45 pm. Left by 6:14 am and this was an easy day! The wild flowers are beautiful; red poppies, lavender, scotchbroom, purple thistle, dandelions and daisies beside the path. People are here from all over the world. Having an amazing time! Everyone should do this!

It's time

I've waited my whole life for this moment. Travel.

It's called to me each time my children have boarded a plane, train or automobile. "Come… Adventure awaits."

I have waited patiently, and now it is my turn. Both my husband and I are retired and the world, with all of its sights and sounds, smells and stories has extended its hand and we are taking it.

Here is to tomorrow the greatest adventure of all.
